What To Expect — Your First Visit

Phase 1: Relief Care

When patients experience sudden pain due to injury, surgery, or other medical conditions, acute care plays an important role in recovery. Here, we focus on alleviating pain and restoring function during this critical phase. The primary goals of acute care include reducing pain and inflammation, improving mobility and preventing further injury.

Treatment modalities may involve hands-on techniques and therapeutic exercises, tailored to each patient’s individual needs. The acute phase typically lasts from a few days to several weeks, depending on the severity of the condition and the patient’s overall health. During this time, patients can expect to see signs.

Phase 2: Corrective Care

Phase 2: Corrective Care

Corrective care is a crucial phase in treatment that targets the underlying causes of a patient’s pathology, transitioning them from acute care to more focused rehabilitation approach. During this phase, our primary goal is to strengthen weak or inhibited muscles, thereby restoring functional movement and enhancing overall stability.

Typically, this phase of care begins 3-4 weeks after our initial exam, depending on the specific condition and progress. This period allows for tailored exercise programs that address individual muscle imbalances and movement deficiencies, fostering lasting improvements in strength and function. By emphasizing corrective strategies, we empower patients to not only recover but also prevent future injuries, paving the way for a healthier, more active lifestyle.

Phase 3: Wellness Care

Wellness care is a proactive approach to care that focuses on maintaining overall health, enhancing physical performance, and preventing injuries. Unlike traditional rehabilitation, which often addresses specific injuries or conditions, wellness care aims to optimize body mechanics, improve flexibility, and build strength through tailored exercise programs and lifestyle notifications.

Patients interested in wellness care typically visit once or twice a month, depending on their individual goals and needs. The benefits of wellness care include increased energy levels, improved balance and coordination, enhanced athletic performance, and a reduced risk of injuries.

Wellness care is suitable for a wide range of individuals, from athletes looking to maximize their performance to those seeking to maintain mobility and independence as they age. Ultimately, wellness care promotes a holistic approach to health, empowering patients to take charge of their well-being and enjoy a more active, fulfilling life.
